Toronto Stop The War Coalition Rally

The rally started with speeches by various groups concerned about the war, and then we marched around downtown and ended at the Toronto City Hall. It was a great networking event, and Mike and I met up with active youths from around the area. We proposed keeping in touch and working together. It was hard to estimate the attendance, but there were about 25 people with signs specifically about 9/11. Thanks to Somebigguy at 911blogger.com!

The Toronto 9/11 Meetup Group met at a coffee shop prior to the rally to network and discuss the issues. If you want to be a part of it, just sign up, and you will be notified via email when the next meetup event will be. I will be trying to attend regularly.

Also at the rally we got in touch with M.Keefer, a professor at University of Guelph, who is part of Scholars for 9/11 Truth, which is an organization of university-affiliated people who question the official account of 9/11. I have invited him to speak at Sheridan College and will be arranging this soon. I look forward to promoting this upcoming event!
